Feels real good

To roll around in mommy's tum - feels real good.
To have hair that I can brush - feels real good.
To have little feet that I can kick mommy in the ribs with - feels real good.
To practice breathing - feels real good.
To begin dropping into mommy's pelvis - feels real good!

I did some good clutterbustering yesterday, and today I feel like kicking mommy some. Take THAT! Karate-CHOP!

Kickin' it!

That's right, I'm kicking and punching mommy as much as I want to! It's getting real tight in here.
So I've had an epiphany of sorts. That's right - a revelation you might say. As you may be aware, I've been somewhat...resistant...to the idea that I would eventually have to leave this home of mine here in mommy's tummy. Well, after a long talk with placenta, I've come to the realization that I must leave this place at some point and that point is fast approaching. I haven't even begun packing yet! So I'll be very busy tidying up, cleaning out my closet, doing a little dusting, just general clutterbustering. You know, pretty standard stuff.
Then, when I'm good and ready, I'll come out and check out my new digs!
I keep hearing these voices, so I'm real curious what these voices look like!

I want to go home!

Ok Mom, it was real kewl to hang out with Uncle Tommy and all, but it's time for Smudge to get home to Daddy! I hope we get to hear him tonight and I can go sleepytimes in my own bed tonight. I also miss that gray thing that wakes me up every day. He's real fat, but pretty kewl.

I learn so much in skool

Like how my head's gonna come out...and how I'm gonna be real upset, and when I'm going to sleep, when I get hungry. It's reall kewl to know all that stuff. It's funny, too, to think that you guys actually think I'm gonna leave this swanky pad I'm living in! It's warm, cozy, dark and comfy in here - why would I want to go anywhere? Plus, I have placenta to keep me company, he's real cool - and I agree with Mel Gibson, it's really super kewl.
Mommy, happy birthday in advance - it's too bad you didn't stay in your mommy's tummy for 30 years, I bet you would have been real cozy.
Ok, not much more building to go, I'm getting pretty big - and this space ain't getting any bigger!

I like Philly!

It's real kewl...they serve really good fizzy cold drinks that make me feel fizzy. I also like dancing and walking through the heart and seeing that big clangy bell! And cole's pretty cool. when i come outta here, can we hang out and stuff? That would be real kewl...but Daddy wanted me to ask that if me and Cole end up talking and being good buddies, that people don't start laughing about what good friends we are and pointing at us! That's not kewl.
Don't be late for your baby skills class tonight, you need to know what to do with me when I'm a screamin' and a shoutin'!

I'm looking real good...

I'm just hanging out, combing my hair, building some meconium and that white stuff that keeps my skin real soft...it's like a spa in here! Mommy, once I check out you should totally rent this space out - you'd make a mint! It's warm, soft, nourishing for skin and all this water is like totally cleaning my hair all the time!
I can't wait for the big party this weekend in Philly. I just hope they play some fallout boy.
Ok, I've got to continue practicing breathing...deep breaths...so that when I scream and cry, you'll hear me!

Hiccup!

You keep saying that I'm bump-bumping, mommy...maybe I'm just hiccuping!
And I'm sorry that I'm making you so tired. It's because I'm such a big soldier and hauling me around everywhere is bound to do that! But guess what? You have 6 more weeks to go, and I'm not going anywhere! I'm like a little tick, burrowed inside of you, nourished from the warmth and the cord and the warmth. Feels real good.
Although I will say it's getting a little boring in here lately. I think I need to upgrade my living space, this studio apartment business is getting old! I need more space!

Dad's Bench is real kewl

it's this cool dark wood with real soft pillows on it, and it looks real kewl! I liked seeing his office and wandering around the hallways!
Dad also has a really kewl leaf blower...I sure hope he doesn't fire that thing up when I'm trying to sleep though! That would be a bad choice.
I like it when Mommy watches Dexter on TV. Her heart starts pumping loudly, and it sounds like the Sleep Sheep!
I also love the bumblebees above my bed. Real kewl.

Way to go, Mommy!

I'm real proud of you mommy! it feels real good when someone works hard like you do and they get rewarded! While I'm sad that you will be going back to work, i'm happy that i'll be playing with my infant pals and telling them that if they don't do what i want, my director mommy will show them whats-what!

I likes to Party

That's right, everyone, I survived my first big party. I was pretty tired on Sunday after raging all night, but that's to be expected I guess. After all that fun, I'm looking forward to getting out into the real world and seeing what all these people look like! I also can't wait to meet cousin Jake. He sounds real kewl. I'm still resting today, occasionally kicking and poking...all in all, it was a great weekend for Smudge! Can't wait to wear my new sleep sacks and read the book about me.
